The squad programme at Mercury Bay Swim Club is designed for swimmers who are ready to train with purpose and push their performance to the next level. Training sessions are structured to refine stroke technique, improve endurance, and develop speed, with a strong focus on discipline and consistency in the water. Swimmers learn advanced skills such as pacing, race strategies, efficient turns, and powerful starts — all essential for competitive success.

Our squads are grouped to ensure that each swimmer is challenged at the right level. With clear goals, progressive training plans, and regular opportunities to compete, swimmers are encouraged to test themselves, track their progress, and celebrate personal bests.
